At Quest, the temp starts high and doesn’t let up.
Mexico sun is no joke, and staying ahead of it is key to feeling your best throughout Quest.
A few simple habits go a long way toward a safer, more enjoyable festival experience. Water between drinks, eat beforehand, stick to one drink an hour, and stay close to friends you trust. And if you ever need a sober moment, our SWAY space has you covered with great mocktails and good vibes. Click here to learn more safe drinking best practices.
On-Site Safety Support
The Quest Safety team is comprised of POWER people who are solely committed to the wellbeing of Quest attendees. Primarily People Experience, People Development, and People Resources, this is a CPR & First Aid certified group that is available 24/7 for any concerns.
The Safety team can be identified onsite by Pink Vests that say “Quest Safety” on the back. Feel free to approach, ask questions, seek help, or flag us down if you see something that needs attention.
Any People Experience staff member is also CPR & First Aid certified and has quick access to the Safety team if your issue needs to be escalated.
As always, if you are actively experiencing a medical emergency and have no immediate support, call 911.
The Quest planning team has an on-staff meteorologist in Cancun who monitors weather 24/7. Although you should look to Connect for major event agenda
updates, there are other communication channels we will utilize to alert you of any safety disruptions to the scheduled agenda. Festival screens, Connect, and
live-time stage announcements will give you the most-up-to-date information. Evacuation plans are in place for a variety of spaces across the resort.
Inclement weather during the festival or concert:
• All barricades at entry and exit points to the festival grounds will be opened immediately. We will egress safely through all exit points to the closest building.
This will most likely be the Moon Palace Sunrise lobby. If your room is in Nizuc, please do NOT attempt to return to your room if there is an active weather event that would expose you to the elements. We will make a live-time announcement to give the All Clear.
Inclement weather during the day or before the festival opens:
Announcements will be made via Connect. Shelter in place will be recommended. Keep your eye on Connect for the All Clear.
General Safety
Any other emergencies will be communicated via the channels mentioned above.
